Aurora Energy Research provides independent analysis of the economics of energy markets. Drawing on the latest theory and techniques in the fields of environmental, resource, and financial economics, we build sophisticated models of global and regional energy markets.
Founded in 2013 by five University of Oxford economists, who have decades of experience at the highest levels of academia and energy policy. We anticipate substantial growth over the medium-term. In aid of our client-facing research, we contribute to the body of peer-reviewed academic research in energy economics.
Aurora Energy Research is currently looking for:
- Head of Computable General Equilibrium Modelling. You will lead the firm’s Computable General Equilibrium modelling efforts and be a co-author of our academic publications, as well as our reports to business and government. You may also have the opportunity to supervise graduate students at the University of Oxford in CGE modelling, if desired.
- Analyst, Computable General Equilibrium Modelling. You will contribute substantially to the firm’s Computable General Equilibrium modelling efforts and be a co-author of our academic publications, as well as our reports to business and government.
