EcoMod2022
The next International Conference on Economic Modeling and Data Science (EcoMod2022) will take place in Ljubljana, Slovenia, on September 14 – 16, 2022. The conference will be hosted by the School of Economics and Business of the University of Ljubljana.
The goal of the conference is to promote the exchange of ideas and experience among economists conducting quantitative analysis for policy and decision making in the public and private sectors. The conference will cover all areas of applied economic modeling and data science.

Important Deadlines
April 30, 2022: Abstract submission deadline
June 30, 2022: Early registration deadline
July 31, 2022: Deadline for uploading the full version of the accepted papers and for registration
July 31, 2022: Deadline for registration for the presenters.
Please note that, accepted papers will only be included in the final program if presenting authors have registered by July 31, 2022.

Oral Presentation
Papers accepted for oral presentation have 20 minutes for presentation to an audience and 10 minutes for discussion during parallel sessions.
Registration
The registration fee for in-person presenters is €485 (euro). An early registration fee of €400 (euro) is available if payment is made by June 30, 2022.
The reduced registration fee for PhD students presenters is is €325 (euro). If you want to benefit from the reduced fee, please send a copy of your student card via email to Patricia MacNeil (pat.macneil@ecomod.net) upon registration.
For virtual presenters the registration fee is €245 (euro). An early registration fee of is €200 (euro) is available if payment is made by June 30, 2022.

The accompanying person registration fee is is €100 (euro). The fee covers:
- Welcome reception
- Gala dinner
Please note that the fee for accompanying persons does not include admission to the scientific sessions, coffee and lunch, or any conference documentation.
Confirmation of your registration will be sent after receipt of payment.
Registration cancellation policy
All registration cancellations must be received in writing via email to Patricia MacNeil (pat.macneil@ecomod.net) by the dates listed below.
- For cancellation requests received before July 10, 2022, full refund will be provided minus €80 (euro) for administrative charges.
- For cancellation requests received between July 11 and Aug 10, 2022, a refund of 50% will be provided.
- No refund will be given for cancellation requests received after Aug 11, 2022.
- No-shows are subject to the full registration fee.
- Refunds will be issued within 30 business days after the conference concludes.
Conference substitution policy
Substitutions for the conference will be allowed at any time. Please contact Theresa Leary to request a transfer or substitution.
Publication
All the papers presented at the conference will be posted in PDF format on the IDEAS RePEc website, the largest global bibliographic database dedicated to economics. The copyright stays with authors so that they can publish the paper in any other formats.
